Wetland
Stop
4 is at the constructed wetland. The wetland was created in 1994 to collect
tile flow from a 12 acre field before entering Bear Creek. During the 3 days
that it takes water to flow through the wetland, bacteria in the wetland effectively
reduce the nitrate in the tile water.
